Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. May God rest his soul. My uncle Jimmy was my mom’s brother and he is the last sibling and uncle on the Pappas family. He will be missed and I wish his wife Thea Eleni and family my deepest sympathy. May God rest his soul and now he goes to see all his 12 brothers and sisters that left before him. He had good long life. Much love to the family.

  2. Our Hearts go out to Eleni and the family. May God Bless all of you at this time. He will greatly be missed by so many that knew and loved him. You are in Our Thoughts and Prayers. May his Life be Eternal. With all our Love, John & Susan Poulos

  3. Jimmy was one of the first people I met after moving here from Avery County and going to work for the Asheville Police Dept. in 1979. I always loved going to the 5 points restaurant on our lunch or dinner breaks. Jimmy always treated us like family and his wife Elini made the best cole slaw in Asheville, I made a meal on her cole slaw and crackers on many occasions. God Bless Jimmy and Elini and hold the family close during these difficult times. Jimmy will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

  4. My sympathies for the Pappas family. I have many fond memories of Jimmy through out my youth in Asheville. Jim & Eleni were great family and friends to our whole family. We also extend our love to Mike, Maria & Nick for all the years of devoted friendship. May God bless you all.

  5. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Eleni and the rest of the family. We loved going to Five Points not only for the great food but also to see Jimmy and Eleni and the kids. We have some fond memories of them. We attended Maria and Nick’s wedding and it was a wonderful celebration and we felt like family. Jimmy was a kind man who will be missed tremendously.
