Lou & Family,
I was shocked to hear about JoAnn’s passing. I can’t express the loss I feel, and the loss to the community of Fairview. I have several memories that I will cherish! JoAnn & I would laugh and cut up for hours when she worked at Betty’s. We would discuss things going on in the community and sometimes she would discuss the Lord & she always would tell me about her Son, Mathew, being a preacher. When she left Betty’s, I missed seeing her in Fairview and asked Lou where she was at. He told me and I drove out to see her one day. She was so happy to have company, and we laughed for a good while. Then she started at Food Lion, and if I could get up early enough, I would see her at check out. I have so many fond memories and feel such sadness. I wish I could have given her a hug, or something. JoAnn had overcome some giant obstacles, and for whatever reason, this one seemed to big. There is not a doubt in my mind, especially recalling our conversations; that JoAnn is with Jesus right now. I will never forget that laugh and smile, and her friendly personality. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!! and My prayers are with you.
JoAnn…till that day in Heavens view, when your family comes home to you. Once again, we’ll smile and laugh. Once again when time has passed. Till that day we’ll embrace each memory in hopes of seeing you agian.
