John Ervin Ingle, Jr., 74, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
A native of Asheville, Johnny was a son of the late John Ervin, Sr. and Dorothy House Ingle. He was also preceded in death by his son, Johnny Ervin Ingle, III.
Mr. Ingle worked for many years at BorgWarner. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and appreciating classic cars.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Caldwell Ingle; daughter, Elizabeth Cole (Wesley); son, Jimmy Edward Ingle; and brother, Bruce Ingle (Linda).
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. All are invited to attend.

Johnny and I were in the same graduating class at A.C. Reynolds in 1965. I remember him well. We had some good times back then and greatly miss the world as it was then. It was much simpler and much kinder. When I drive by Reynolds Middle School these days which was Reynolds High School in 1965 I remember things we did as teenagers with fond remembrance.
