John Richard 'Dick' Fuller

Asheville~ John Richard “Dick” Fuller, 73, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, 11 December, 2007. A native of this area, he was a son of the late John Emory and Dorothy Lowe Fuller. He is also preceded in death by a sister Caroline McMinn. Educated at N.C. State University as an industrial engineer, he was a U.S. Army Veteran and was employed by Olin and Square D. He was a member of Arden Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Marjorie Burgin Fuller; two sons, Brian Fuller and his wife Elizabeth of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Shawn Fuller of Honolulu, Hawaii; one brother, Charles Fuller of Orange Co., California; a sister, Mildred McGowan of Faison, N.C.; three grandchildren, Gwenyeth, Aynsley and Tristan Fuller and special friends, the Burgess family. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, 17 December, 2007 at Arden Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at 3:00 pm Monday at Sunset Memorial Park in Forest City. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Sunday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road.
