John Snedden, III, 48, of 501 Sluder Branch Rd., Lot # 30, Leicester, died Monday, July 30, 2007, at Memorial Campus Mission Hospitals.
A New Jersey native, Mr. Snedden was son of Lorraine Peterson Snedden and the late John Henry Snedden, Jr.
Mr. Snedden worked as a self-employed painter. He was a veteran of the US Navy.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Snedden is survived by daughter, Kayla Marie Snedden, of Boynton Beach, FL; sister, Lorraine Bellomo and husband Ron, of Asheville; brothers, Fred R. Snedden and wife Margo, of Candler, and Robert Snedden and wife Joy, of Port St. Lucie, FL; his fiancée, Penny Bollis; 11 nieces and nephews, and five great-nieces and nephews.
A memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. with the Rev. Chris Bradford officiating.
His family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home, and at other times will be at the home of his sister, Lorraine.

I came across this obituary quite accidentally & am very saddened by Johnny’s passing. I knew Johnny years ago when he lived in Fla..We had lost touch about 13 years ago, but I have fond memories & his presence on this Earth will be missed. Deepest sympathies to his family & fiance. Debbie
