  1. I’m so sorry for your loss. I pray the God of all comfort will help you during this difficult time.
(2 Corinthians 1:3,4). Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come because He knew it would be able to solve all mankind’s problems even death.(Revelation 21:4,5).

  2. Jonathan was a wonderful teacher, and a great friend to students. I truly enjoyed both of the economics classes that I had with him. He is already missed by his A-B Tech family. Please know, that I am praying for you, his family, he used both his wife and daughter in illustrations during class, and we could tell that he loved both of you so much!
He was a great man, a great teacher, and a great economist and musician. His stories of his early days in the rock band were some of my favorites, and I will never forget the “Farmer and Rancher” video.

  3. The Marshall and Miller families are sending all of our love and prayers for comfort and healing to Jon’s wife and daughter and his whole family.

  4. Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I not only took an Economics class from Jonathan while attending A-B Tech in 2006, but also had the pleasure of working with him at the College. He taught ITV classes from the South Site to the Madison Site. Students loved him. He was always very upbeat and talked to students after class if they needed him. He was such as pleasure. I will miss him. Prayers for you all during this very sad time. Sherri Davis, A-B Tech Madison

  5. I knew Jonathan throughout his tenure at A-B Tech. He was a talented instructor and professional faculty member, liked by everyone. I always enjoyed our conversations. The College will miss him. Please know he is at peace. Dennis King

  6. My heart goes out to you at this very difficult time. I will always remember Jonathan as a gentleman, excellent instructor, and a man with whom I had many an enjoyable conversation. He will be missed here at A-B Tech, and I’m sure all his friends and colleagues will miss him as well. My sincerest condolences.

  7. Dear Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the awesome pleasure of attending one of Jonathan’s Economics classes in 2006 – and have also had the privilege of working with him at the College. He taught some of the ITV classes from South to Madison. He was such a kind soul – caring – loved his students. Prayers for all of you.

  8. I was upset when I heard about Mr. Bricker’s passing. He taught me twice, spring and summer 2019 and I wouldn’t have made it through those classes without him. He also talked with us about life and education. He talked me through a situation involving my degree and also had a heart to heart with a few of us (students) that enlightened us and helped open our eyes. This is so sad, he was an awesome and down to earth person. I will be praying for his family and friends.

  9. I am so sorry for your loss. You and the entire Bricker family are in my thoughts and prayers. I enjoyed working with Jonathan. He and I shared an office when I first was hired at A-B Tech. We had many good times talking about our love for education.

  10. So sorry. Jon was such a beacon of light and a fellow live music aficionado! He will be missed. Much love sent to family and friends.

  11. Dear Vicki, Cassidy and Brickner family,
I am so very sorry for your loss, Jon was an amazing person! He was an amazing man full of love and joy. I will miss him and his love for music. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

  12. I met Jonathan many years ago when he first joined A-B Tech. We were put on a committee of two. He loved teaching, his students and his family. Always talked about his family with such pride. He was a gentle soul.
I am so sorry for your loss.

  13. Jonathan had such a beautiful heart and was one of my favorite colleagues at A-B Tech. I can still see his smile and hear his laugh. May you find smiles amidst the tears as you remember happier times . 💔

  14. We have been so terribly sad and sorry for your loss of Jon. His kindness and caring showed in all he did, and brought happiness to so many. We are holding Vicky and Cassidy in our hearts and sending love to the whole family from Jed, Stacie, Hudson and Piper DeGroote

  15. I was very sorry to hear of Jonathan’s passing. I worked with him as the Assistant for the Department of Economics at UNC Asheville when he taught part-time for our department. He was always kind and happy and was the same every time I saw him. My deepest condolences to his family. May your many memories of him bring you peace in the days ahead.

  16. I only knew “of” Jonathan, but I saw him regularly for years and knew him to be a wonderful instructor. What a terrible loss. I know that he is missed by his colleagues and by his students. I am so sorry for his friends and family, for all of you. I can only pray that someday in the not too distant future, you will think of him and his memory will bring you more joy than pain. I’m so sorry for your loss.

  17. Jon was a very smart, sweet man. Jon, Vickie and Cassidy joined us several times for Tourist baseball games, eating junk food and drinking good, local beer. I pray that he is at peace and that his family stays strong in having loved him for the time he was with us. God bless, he lived life to the fullest
