Joseph “Danny” Cabe, 75, of Salem, SC passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, May 17, 2023.

Born October 16, 1947 in Asheville, NC, Danny was a son of the late Joseph Dillie Cabe and Emma Roberts Cabe. He was a graduate of Erwin High School

Surviving is his wife, Deborah Polk Cabe; daughter, Tracy Wise (Evan); son, Bryan DeHart (Britney); grandchildren, Hannah Wise, Brayden Wise, Dallas DeHart, Criseyde DeHart and Camden DeHart; and a sister, Pat Pfister (Mike).

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 21 at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Candler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hominy Valley Youth League and/or to Boone Creek Baptist Church, 264 Boone Creek Rd., Salem, SC 29676.
