Joseph Michael "Eskimo" Jenkins, 57, of Weaverville, died on Thursday, February 9, 2017.
A native of Buncombe Co. Eskimo was a son of the late Thurman Arville and Betty Marie Brown Jenkins.
Eskimo is survived by his three brothers, Mark A. Woodby, Thurman Aaron Jenkins, and Arville Dale Jenkins and wife Mardi; niece, Courtney Lynn Keaton; nephews, James Patrick Woodby, Christopher George Woodby, and Joshua Alan Woodby; cousin, Bill Haney; and close family friends, Gerald Weitzel, Randall Medford and Jeff Eggert.
The graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Dr. J. Wendell Runion officiating.
His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
