Thelma, Larry, Becky, Danny, Penny, and Sherri,
It has been so long since I have seen you all. Larry, when you and your dad came to see us in Rock Hill when my dad was dying, Joe gave my son a dollar bill. He still remembers it to this day. As a kid, I remember going to Joe and Thelma’s house to see them and walking to see Joe’s garden. That is when I started liking hot peppers. He could grow some of the best peppers around. Remember, that the Lord will take care of us all.

Joe Massie was my Papaw for 29yrs of my life and i loved him more and more as i got older. i could fuss with him if i wanted to and he would fuss back then we would throw our heads back and laugh. i had the honor of helping take care of my papaw before he went HOME to be with the LORD and i would never trade that time spent taking care of my preicous papaw. i was even more honored to have been there holding my papaw’s hand, rubbing his face, and singing softly to him when my preiecous loving papaw enter into the GATES OF HEAVEN and was standing in the presence of the
LORD!!!! WHAT A POWERFUL FEELING OF HONOR, GLORY, AND PEACE! i am not saying i don’t miss my talks with my papaw every thursday morning over coffee and toast, because i do. but i know that i WILL see my papaw in HEAVEN on day and we can have some of that heavenly coffee and heavenly toast together! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR MY FAMILY!!
