Joyce Wilson

Joyce Leigh Wilson, 78, of Asheville, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2017, at her residence. A native of Buncombe County she was a daughter of the late Roi and Lucille Maney Plemmons. She retired as a draft person for Bell South. She graduated from St. Genevieve's School and was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Groce United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Kelly Hirabayashi (John) of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Lisa Greene (Harold) of Mooresville; grandsons, Jared (Maddie), Aaron, Christian and David Greene. A private graveside service will be held at Lewis Memorial Park. Joyce loved her family, flower garden, cooking, traveling and music. She will be dearly missed. Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
