Resided in:
Asheville, NC
Born on April 8, 1944, beloved mother, Judith "Juju" Reynolds Davis, went peacefully to be with the Lord Saturday morning after long-suffering and endurance through mortality. What a sweet reunion with friends and loved ones gone before as she made her glorious heavenly journey home.
She was a very loving, caring and devoted Christian; faithful to her church and the Word of God. She was a great example of overcoming the most difficult obstacles and beating the odds when they were stacked against her time and time again. She was easy to love and made everyone's life better because she was in it.
She is survived by her daughters, Tami Atkins, Brandi (Leonardo) Feuermann; a sister and brother; a nephew and niece; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Shular, son-in-law, Charles "Chet" Atkins; and her parents.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the caregivers from various centers, not limited to, StoneRidge, Home Instead, Blue Ridge Home Care and CarePartners. A special thank you to the care and friendship provided by P.A.C.E. Though her health was declining rapidly in her final months, she remained ever grateful for the family she found at P.A.C.E., especially Wednesday's BINGO hour.
We love you mom. We are very proud of you. We admire your strength, your love for others and the Lord, your devotion to your family and your fun nature. This is not goodbye, only see you in the morning.
A memorial service will be held at Elk Mountain Baptist Church on Saturday, December 3 at 3:00 p.m. Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Elk Mountain Baptist Church Youth Group.
Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.

I loved my Aunt Judy, she was wonderfully high spirited and her smile was infectious. I didn’t get to see her often, but when I did she beamed with rays of sunshine & love.
Sending my thoughts and prayers to you all. JuJu always knew how to brighten some ones day. It was such a joy to help care for her at the PACE center. She will be missed by so many.
