Asheville Butterfly TrailA native of Fairview, she was the daughter of the late William Alexander and Eva Henderson Wright and wife of the late Wayne Gaston Alexander, who died in 1997. Mrs. Wright was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church where she was active with her Sunday school class.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Bob LaBerge of Lawrenceville, Georgia, two sisters, Mildred W. Freeman and Peggy W. Reed and four brothers, Robert, Roland, Jack and Joe Wright, all of Fairview.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Revs. Todd Royal and Norris Wright. Interment will follow in the Cane Creek Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 pm Monday at the funeral home on Long Shoals Road.
Memorials may be made to the building fund of Fairview Baptist Church.
