Kitty was simply one of the nicest people I have ever worked with. She was a wonderful teacher and colleague. She was funny and fun; her smile was the greatest. I pray that God will hold you all close during this time.
Mrs. Swayngim was my third grade teacher. I was a nervous child and had struggled with the idea of school until third grade. First and second grade were filled with many absences due to my fright induced upset tummy. I am sure that the combination of my increased maturity and Mrs. Swayngim’s firm but warm classroom guidance created the perfect climate for me to have an absence-free third grade year. I have only fond memories of her.
I have known Kitty and her husband all my life…She was a wonderful…gracious woman…she will be missed by all that knew her…..God needed a new Angel so he picked the best….Prayers for the family…Rejoice with Robert in Heaven…RIP
I worked with Kitty for several years at Candler Elementary and always considered her the ultimate professional. She was always cool, calm, and elegant. She will be missed in so many circles and memories of times with her and her family will continue to ripple through the lives of those closest to her. Praying that God will give you the peace that passes all understanding until the day of that great Reunion.
Doug, Cindy, Rebecca, and Josh
My sincere sympathy to you on the loss of your mother/grandmother. Kitty and Bob were Heart Path classmates when my husband and I joined the class 20+ years ago. I remember hearing stories of the grandchildren’s activities up to their going to college! May your memories of those good times comfort you now.
Praying for your family at this time and always.
We went to church with Kitty and her family for many years. She always had a smile on her face. So sorry for your loss.
Doug and Cindy, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but only heard wonderful things of her through the years. I pray God gives you peace and comfort knowing she is with her creator.
Love to you both…
Doug and family. I am so sorry to read about the loss of your mother.
I worked with your Dad for many years at UNC Asheville and got to
know your mother during that time. What a FINE LADY. In fact, we
had lunch one time, with Carolyn Frady, after your dad passed away.
She was so kind and it was genuine.
Praying God will give you strength as you face the difficult days ahead.
With Deepest Sympathy.
