larry was a wonderful person.i will miss him alot.i will miss the times we spent fooling with those old cars.hes like a dad to me.hes gone on to be with the lord and i know hes happy.we will see him again on the other side.i love all of you alot
I know Larry will be missed He was a great father, husband, neigbor and friend. We had some great times over the years. Anytime I had a problem around the house Larry was willing and able to lend a helping hand. When we moved I hated that the rock garden was demolished and the wishing well was left on the street. Larry was so instrumental in those projects. All those years in Biltmore, Larry and the boys, were my ‘mechanics’. Larry was always knew how to solve a mechanical problem. He was great. Marie, kept us supplied with a cookie or pastry, and scoop on what’ up in the neigborhood. All our neigbors were like family. We all looked out for each other. Too bad it’s not like that today. I do miss living there, but what I miss most are the friendships. I know we will all miss Larry, but I know he has been welcomed with open arms in his heavenly home. I can imagime Larry, there, helping someone with a project.
Leslie and I would like to convey our heartfelt sympathies to Marie, Tim, Tony, and the rest of the Meadows’ family. Leslie and I grew up across the street from the Meadows’. Larry was a good man, and an extremely hard worker. He was not afraid to ‘get down and dirty’ on the job, and there was not a job he wouldn’t tackle for a friend. Things that most people would turn down, Larry was always there to say he could help you with that.
I can remember growing up, Leslie and I would get off the school bus, and we’d stay with Marie for a couple hours until our parents got home from work. It was a good and bad childhood experience for me…bad because my sister always seemed to have control of the TV, so I had to endure watching General Hospital, but good because Marie always had some sort of sweet snack for me!
It was nice to grow up with such nice neighbors – so good, that you can’t really call them neighbors anymore…they’re like family! Marie, I know you’ll miss Larry, he was a good man…but Praise God, he’s with The Lord now, and we’ll all be reunited someday. We love you!

Zilla, it is like we have lost a member of the family. Even tho i had not seen Larry in a long time, i thought about you and him often. I did not know he was so sick. I knew I had missed seeing you in the grocery store but did not know why I had not seen you.I have many fond memories of us being neighbors on Biltmore Avenue. I remember the day you and Larry got married and when Timmie and Tony were born. I know that you and Larry had a long and happy marriage and that you will miss him very much. Mac had mentioned when Larry worked at Muttons service station and the times he would talk to him there. I could go on and on. My thoughts are jumbled right now but one of these days we will have to get to gether and talk over old times. Will be thinking about you and just rest assured that Larry is in Heaven with Loved ones gone on and haveing a wonderful time with no more pain. Love to you and Timmie and Tony.
