As Jack’s son Tim’s ex wife, mother of Jack’s grandson Steven (and great grandson Ian), I wish to express to express our deepest sympathy and condolences.
We are neighbors of Mr. Matthews and wanted to express our condolences in the loss of a really good neighbor. My mom (Betty Ward) and I as well as our church have been praying for healing for Mr. Matthews this past week. We know God heard our prayers but decided to bring Mr. Matthews home where there is no sickness and pain. We will be praying for the family especially Mrs. Matthews. We know you will miss him dearly. Know we are here if you need us. We have been neighbors for over 30 years and he was always so very nice to us as the rest of the family. May God give you the strength in the days to come. Julie, we are praying for you also, I lost my dad and know how hard it is. One day we’ll be reunited together again in heaven. May God Bless your family during this difficult time. Monica,
I’m really sorry to learn of your loss. You and Jack were a great help to me as I was going through RCIA a couple of years ago; I was thinking of you two as I attended the Easter vigil tonight.
My condolences,
Jeff
Monica,
I am thinking of you and your family.
I felt like I knew Jack since we worked together at Walker Mfg. for several years. He was always so kind and pleasant. Then I met you later at CMD and you are just the same (very sweet, kind, and thoughtful). I totally understand what you are going through and if I can do anything for you, please let me know. I love you!
Monica. there are 1200 nuna praying for Jack, you and your family. Love and prayers, Sr. Mike
Monica and family,
Our deepest condolences to you, our neighbors, in this time of your great sorrow. May God give you the strength you need to deal with your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks to you and Jack for all you have done for us.
My sympathy to the Matthews Family. I first met Mr. Matthews when Mark and I were in college. Then I used to stop in the photo shop for many years to say ‘hi’ to Mark. He was always pleasant and a family man. It is hard to lose such a dear family member. Thoughts and prayers from the Thompson family.
Monica-
We were so sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. Our prayers go out for you and your family.

Monica and Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy at this time and in the days to come. We enjoyed Jack’s wit, his smile, but, most of all, we admired his strong faith, his caring for others, and his neverending quest for knowledge. Our time spent with Jack gave us joy renewed, and made our faith stronger in so many ways. May God’s peace, loving memories, and the knowledge that Jack loved Our Lord carry you through this journey. Our love, Jenny and Harold
Monica, I was so sorry to hear about Jack. Even though I never had the good fortune to meet him in person, I felt like I knew him over the years that I worked with you at CMD. I know he will be missed by so many.
