Leslie J. Webster

October 12, 1897 ~ November 22, 1998

Leslie J. Webster, 101, of 2 Fairview Terrace, Asheville, died Sunday, November 22, 1998, in the Asheville VA Medical Center.

Mr. Webster was born in Eden Valley, NY, and was a son of the late Frank H. and Amelia Hickman Webster. He served in France for the Army during WW I and was a retired supervisor at Taylor Instrument Co. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy, and by his son, Asheville architect Richard F. Webster.

He is survived by his wife, Dallie Williams Keck Webster; a daughter-in-law, Barbara H. Webster; three grandchildren, Scott H. Webster, Deborah W. Powell, and Lisa W. Schulz; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday at Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry Bowers officiating. Private burial will be at Calvary Churchyard, Fletcher.
