Lila Plemmons Redmon, 79, of Asheville, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Mission Hospital.

A native of Buncombe Co., Lila was a daughter of the late Chester David “C.D.” Plemmons and Evelyn “Elaine” Plemmons. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Carroll David Plemmons.

Surviving is her sister, Janet Redmon; her daughters, Darlene Wright (Lindy) and Monica Porche (Frank) and their father, Thurman Redmon; grandchildren, Caleb Suddreth (Frances), Kyara Rice (Tyler), Dallas Messer, Bradie Messer and April Wright; and great-grandchildren, Camden Messer, Skyler Suddreth, Myles Rice, Jade Redmon and Lexi Duncan.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Pisgah View Memorial Park. Pastor Richard Baird will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org.
