My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. I loved visiting with Ms. Lila at the adult day program. She had such a wonderful spirit about her and made me laugh every time I saw her.
I am so glad I met Ms. Lila. The short time I knew her she left an everlasting place in my heart. I am so sorry for your loss, but so happy for her she is at home with the Lord. My love and prayers are with your families. Michelle Stepp
I had the privilege of walking and talking with Lila upon occasion, and hearing the stories about her interesting life and childhood at Biltmore Estate. A sweet lady with a mischievous twinkle in her eyes, who loved most everyone. My sympathies for Betty and Bruce who enabled the last portion of her life to be with family, in a loving environment.
Betty and Janette, I was sorry to hear about the death of your mother. I only knew her from the reunion meetings but her sweet smile stuck in my mind even after I left. You were blessed to have her with you so many years. Bruce and Betty I admired the kindness you showed her. May God bless you all during this time.
