  6. Blessings to all of Linda’s family. She has always had a special place in my heart. Always sweet, soft spoken and kind. Linda was my son’s Godmother, she was a good friend in high school and her brother Bill is my brother-in-law. I will always treasure the giggles and laughs we had and the radiant and beautiful smile on her face. Linda will be forever in our hearts.

  7. Keith, Linda and I were first cousins. My dad and her dad were brothers. I grew up in a foster home after my dad died so Linda and I did not keep in contact I had met her at her mother’s funeral. But as time passed we never made any more contact. I know Bill. He was a senior at Erwin when I was a freshman. Please tell him I am so sorry. She looked like a beautiful woman and I’m so glad she was so active in your Church. I know Virginia Bennett Cobb that goes there. She brought me her phone number and I called but she didn’t seem to know who I was. I wish we could have gotten closer. Life is just not fair is it.? I had no idea you lived in Weaverville because I do too – at Flat Creek .My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. If anyone would like to call me my number is (828)484-9313. I would love to hear from you.

  8. Our family couldn’t begin to thank Linda and Keith for the deepest friendship and loving support for our mom Pat Head (Mewborne). We all loved her and have you in our prayers.

  9. I have not seen Linda for a number of years but I remember her well from our “younger days”. Linda was always up to something and a joy to know…..truly one of a kind. My love to all the family.

  10. Keith, Kelly, Eric, Kristen, Spencer and grandchildren, our hearts ache for your loss. Your wife, mother, Mimi and my Aunt has always been a loving lady. She treated me just like one of her own children when I would come and visit several weeks each summer spanning over several pre-teen and teen years After she married the love of her life and I grew up started my family she still opened her doors to not only me but my husband and children. We where always welcome to stay at “Linda’s Inn” for vacations in Asheville. My own children and husband fell in love with this beautiful, loving, caring lady. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts. She will live on inside of everyone who new and loved her. Coming to Asheville will never be the same. I wanted you all to know how special she was in my life. I love you all. We will keep you all in our hearts, thoughts and prayers 🙏❤️.

  11. I loved Aunt Linda. Such a precious lady & I’m so glad she & Keith got to be a part of daddy’s, her big brother Richard (Jim) 90th birthday. Our sister got the best picture of she & daddy that we will always treasure. She will forever be in my heart.

  12. Aunt Linda was my favorite aunt. I was so happy to get to visit with her at Dad’s 90th birthday party. I wish I could have seen her more often. Rest In Peace.

  15. I am so sorry to all of the family. What a precious lady, and I mean “ lady” in every sense of the word. I was blessed to work with her at VHP for many years, and she made our lives so much richer….So many great times and memories of her and Keith. I know she is in a wonderful place smiling for sure. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  16. Linda created light and joy at visiting Health Professionals. She made her coworkers and patient lives brighter. A true treasure

  17. I came to know “Aunt Linda” when Rue n Richard ( McKinney) opened their hearts and their home to me as a youth -adding me to their family as another daughter. Daddy Richard always referred to her as his “baby sister“ ! Linda was a special part of Daddy Richard’s 90th birthday celebration …and I am so glad they had that time together . He loved the photo I took of them together so much we framed it along with one of Linda with brothers Richard Jerry n Bill. It was obvious she was a joyful spark among the boys. God’s peace comfort and blessings on Keith the children and grandchildren. With love and prayers Fay & Don

  18. Keith, you and your family are in our prayers. May God Bless you, lift you, and give you peace.

  22. Keith,
When I think of Linda, I remember so many positive things — her laugh, generosity, wisdom, calm, and steadiness to name a few. She was always a bright spot in our workplace at VHP & CarePartners. She is loved and will be missed.
