Linda Bridges Cordell, 78, passed away Friday, December 3, 3021, at her home.

Mrs. Cordell was born December 3, 1943, in Buncombe County to the late Hoyle and Vista Huntsinger Bridges. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Cordell, who died November 16, and by her siblings, Reva McMahan, Peggy Mull, Roger Bridges and Wayne Bridges.

Linda worked with her husband as bookkeeper for their family business, Cordell’s Body Shop, and she was actively involved with her grandchildren’s activities.

Her family include her daughter, Melody Roberson (Dewayne); grandchildren, Jessica Reagan (Drew), Boone Roberson (Canaan) and Shelby Roberson; great-grandchildren, Kinlee and Saylor Reagan and Charlee and Beau Roberson; sisters, Joan Austin (Vernon) and Edna Dover, and a brother, Allen Bridges.

A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Anderson officiating.

Memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
