Linda Gail Hoglen Morgan

Linda Gail Hoglen Morgan, 79, of Candler, NC passed away peacefully at her home on Friday April 5, 2024, with her loved ones by her side. Linda was born on July 18, 1944 to Lemuel William Hoglen and Lestie Oberia Wilson Hoglen.

Linda was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church where she also worked as a custodian for many years. Linda had a smile that was contagious and always put others before herself. Her Love and kindness never went unnoticed.

Linda enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and spending time outdoors. She loved her family and friends and spent every minute possible with them. She also enjoyed spending time with her faithful companion of over eight years, Deverow “Jr” Griffin. They spent a lot of time walking outdoors, sight-seeing and watching entertainment/dancing at the Canton Fairgrounds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 12 siblings, husband, John Harold Morgan and son, Johnny Dwight Morgan.

Surviving are her children Harold Dewayne Morgan (Juanita), Daryl Gene Morgan (Erica) and two brothers Rex Allen Hoglen (Penny) and Lemuel Edward Hoglen. She had seven grand-children and five great grand-children.

The family plans to have a celebration of life at a later date.
