Lisa Diane Spraker Wood Burnsville – Lisa Diane Spraker Wood, 54, of Burnsville, died unexpectedly Monday, May 11, 2015 at her residence. A native of Muskogee Co, OK, she was a daughter of Bonnie Narmore Spraker of Mills River and of the late Perry Douglas Spraker. In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her husband, William "Bill" Wood; two daughters, Ashley Genet and her husband, Joe Cupp of Mills River and Lauren Spears and her husband, Larry of Asheville; two sisters, Cynthia Redmon of Mills River and Deborah Scherer of Asheville; two grandchildren, Evie Cupp and Charli Spears, as well as Lisa's canine children, Winston and Pippin. A service celebrating Lisa's life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 16, 2015 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
