"Lois" Jean Roach Hunt, 94, formerly of Sebring, FL and Paducah, KY, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, in Asheville, NC.
Born February 6, 1922, in Fulton, KY, Mrs. Hunt was a daughter of the late William and Thelma Anderson Roach. She was married for 70 years to Irvin N. Hunt, who died October 10, 2016, in Sebring. Following his death, Mrs. Hunt moved to North Carolina to live with her daughter, Alicia Pedroza.
Mr. and Mrs. Hunt were members of the Golf Hammock Country Club and of St. Agnes Episcopal Church in Sebring.
She is survived by her daughter, Alicia Pedroza (Mike); four grandchildren, Teresa Talton (James), Joseph Pedroza (Katie), Michelle Davis (Bobby), and David Pedroza (Amity), and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Bill Hunt, a sister, Joyce Albritton, and a brother, David Roach.
There will be no services.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church Building Fund, 768 Asbury Road, Candler, NC 28715.

I wanted to send my love and condolences to the Hunt family. I am so sorry for your loss. At times like this we need comfort. God’s Word can provide that comfort for it speaks of a beautiful hope for the future. John 5:28,29 says, ‘Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.’ What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dead loved ones.
