Loretta Reed Wright

Fairview ~ Loretta Reed Wright, 86, of Fairview, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Memorial Mission Hospital, St. Joseph campus following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late William and Jennie Dalton Reed. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Wright, son, Eddie Wright, and a granddaughter, Annette Wright Cairnes. She was formerly employed with CP Claire Company and was a member of Emma’s Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Doris Hawkins of Leicester and Alice Smith and her husband Steve of Asheville; a son, James Wright and his wife Janice of Fletcher; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Francis Wren and Wilma Huntley both of Fairview and Inez Curry of Baltimore, MD. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road with the Rev. Norris Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Emma’s Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
