Lottie Lovelace Smith

March 13, 1909 ~ October 30, 1998

Funeral services for Mrs. Smith will be at 1:30 pm Sunday, November 1, 1998, at Groce Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Stanley Taylor will officiate with burial at Academy Cemetery

Mrs. Smith was born in Asheville and was a daughter of the late Iver H. and Lelia Branton Lovelace. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Theodore B. Smith and by two sisters, Edna Bell and Mildred Buckner Hensley. She was retired from Southern Bell Telephone Co. and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was also a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sisters, Annie Mae Lovelace and Frances Aiken; two nieces, Sandra King and Sylvia Hensley; two nephews, Tim and Larry Bell; and two great-nephews, Jeffrey Hampton and Jonathan Hensley.

She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends, especially those friends at Asheville Health Care Center.
