Lottie W. Pressley, 80, of Candler, passed away November 28, 2017 at Aston Park Health Care Center.
Mrs. Pressley was born in Buncombe County on March 2, 1937 to the late George and Bertie Waycaster. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Waycaster, and sisters Lois Bailey, Virginia Fisher and Helen Manning.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bill Pressley; sons, Greg Pressley and Jeff Pressley (wife Dawn); four grandchildren, Danielle, Jamie, Anna and Tyler Pressley; great-grandchild, Lincoln; and sister, Louise Creasman.
Lottie loved her church family where she was a member at Ridgeway Baptist Church. She retired from Enka High School where she was a secretary. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family.
The family would like to express appreciation to Aston Park Health Care Center and Dr. Meg Word-Sims for their loving and wonderful care during her illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Pressley will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Baptist Church in Candler, with the Rev. Jackie Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
So sorry. Lottie was such a sweet person, really enjoyed visiting with her, such a neat personality. Terry Joe and I are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Lottie. She was always such a sweet lady and friendly to me when she would come in the store (Food Lion). I will always remember her sweet smile. Thinking of you during this difficult time.

I remember Lottie very well. I was a senior at Enka High School in 1983. I worked in the Guidance Office with Lottie. She a wonderful person. I have a lot of great memories of her.
