Louleta Leyman York, 80, of Asheville, died Sunday, February 3, 2019 at her residence.
Born in Greentown, Ohio to the late Homer and Louanne Leyman, she was an Operating Room Technician and a member of the Basilica of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Kim Cook.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-four years, Dale York; daughters, Robin Oliveira of Boise, ID and Deborah Ann York of Lake Lure; sister, Connie Lester of Plant City, FL.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Green Hills Cemetery with Father Karl Kaltreider officiating.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.

Aunt Leta was amazing! So fun to visit and her homemade pancakes on a cold winter morning sneaking me some of her coffee. I miss calling her to check on her and visiting her to see snow. I love and miss you bunches!
