Lucille Frady Creasman

Hendersonville ~ Lucille Frady Creasman, 103, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Elizabeth House Hospice Center. She was born July 17, 1905 on Butler Ridge Road in Fletcher and was the daughter of the late Charles E. Frady and Lena Butler Frady. She was preceded in death by four husbands, Seth Edmundson, Edgar Waters, Dewey Jones and Marvin Creasman and was also preceded by her beloved poodle, Barney. She lived all of her life in Henderson and Buncombe Counties and retired from the A & P Tea Co. in 1961. She was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by her only child, Mary Edmundson Robbins, with whom she made her home; two grandchildren, Jesse D. Robbins of Mill Spring and Judith Robbins Moore and her husband Douglas of Woodruff, SC; three great-grandchildren, Stephen Robbins of Hendersonville, Michelle Redden Brown of Gray Court, SC and Robert G. Redden and wife Sabrina of Raleigh, NC; five great-great-grandsons. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian in Arden with with the Rev. Roy Rector and Rev. Cecil Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Elizabeth House Hospice, 581 S.
