Lucy Moore Lemons

Lucy Moore Lemons, 92, of 1 James Drive, Leicester, died Friday, May 7, 1999 at Asheville Health Care.

A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late William and Emma Cole Erwin. She was preceded in death by a daughter Argylle King and two sons Charles and James Moore. She lived in Siler City, NC for 37 years before returning to Asheville in 1993 and was a former member of Bell United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mary Moore of Leicester; five grandchildren, Billy King and Judy Jones both of Siler City, J.C. King of Woodbridge, VA, Linda King of Huntsville, AL, and Bob Moore of Leicester; nine gerat-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Bell United Methodist Church with the Reverend Bobby Gibson and Mr. Robert James officiating.

Her family will receice friends from 12:30-1:30 Sunday at Grice Funeral Home, Patton Avenue.
