Lynda Lee Banks Erwin, of Hendersonville, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Mrs. Erwin is survived by two daughters and two grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016, in the Lake Julian chapel of Groce Funeral Home, Long Shoals Rd.

    I am so sorry for your loss.

    When I think of your mother, I remember her unique laugh and twinkle in her eye when she was telling a story. And there were lots of fun stories! She will be missed- but her stories remain.

  8. This is the last thing I thought I would be doing , at least not yet anyway . I will miss you my friend and all our conversations, even your funny sarcasm which some people didn’t understand , but you and I had a special way of understanding each other . We had many laughs , some so special I am reliving them as I write this and laughing out loud, and at the same time my tears are rolling down my face . We shared a lot of memories that will always be a part of me . Be at peace my friend . My thoughts to your two daughters and their families .

  23. Rachel, I am so sad to hear of Linda’s passing. I remember her as a person who was always willing to help. I went to her many times when I first started at Eaton for help and she was always willing to assist. She had a fantastic sense of humor and if she wasn’t making you laugh, she was laughing herself. I would hear her laughing from a cubicles afar and it would always brighten my day. She was a kind-hearted person that I thought of fondly. She will be missed! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  25. Rachel, I am so sorry in the loss of your Mom, I know she meant so much to you. I am sorry I am not there so that I could give you a big hug. I know the next few months will be a transition for you and the extended family. After the passing of a loved one, I always like to think of them as being in a better place. Even though we are hurting, they are happy.
