Mack Kenneth Taylor, 85, died Monday, September 12, 2011 at The Oaks at Sweeten Creek in Arden. Mr. Taylor was born on September 17, 1925 in Buncombe County to the late Mary Lou and Wiley M. Taylor. He was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and had worked for American Enka for 44 years. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Viola Taylor who died in 1994. He is survived by his daughter, Hazel Robinson and her husband, Tommy, of Mills River; a grandson, Rodney Robinson and his wife, Holly, of Hendersonville and a great grandson, Walker Robinson. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Cody Sturgill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the graveside service on Thursday at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731 or to the Activities department at The Oaks at Sweeten Creek, 3864 Sweeten Creek Road, Arden, NC 28704.
