Margaret Leigh Ainsley Duncan, 90, of Ivanhoe Ave., Asheville, died Monday, April 9, 2012, at Stonecreek Health and Rehabilitation.
A native of Roper, NC, she was a daughter of the late William and Myrtle Lee Long Ainsley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James A. Duncan, in 1993.
Mrs. Duncan is survived by her daughter, Diane Grant of Landrum, SC; son, Jimmy Duncan, of Asheville; 6 grandchildren; and a brother, John Joseph Ainsley of High Point.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Pisgah View Memorial Park, with the Rev. Wes Austin officiating.
Her family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave.
