Margaret Novak Eichler

Asheville – Margaret Novak Eichler, 80, of Haw Creek, passed away at her residence Sunday, December 2, 2007. Born in Hamilton Township, Pennsylvania and raised in Bedford, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Valentine and Mamie Lech Novak and wife of the late Richard Eichler, who died in 1983. Margaret did volunteer work at the Bedford Hospital in Ohio and was a bookkeeper for 30 years. After retirement, she continued as the bookkeeper for the family business. She is survived by her son, Ken Eichler and his wife, Edie, of Fairview; a grandson, Kenny Eichler, her sister, Mary Chepeus of Bedford, Ohio and a sister-in-law, Mary Novak of Bedford, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. Her family will receive friends following the service.
