Marjorie Gibbs Sluder, 79, of 40 Wamboldt
Avenue, Asheville, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1998.
A native of Buncombe County, she was the
daughter of the late Samuel Lee and Lila Mae
Brown Gibbs and wife of the late Robert Marshall
Sluder.
Mrs. Sluder was a member of the Newfound
Baptist Church and was a retired employee of
Memorial Mission Hospital.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 am Friday in the chapel of
Groce Funeral Home conducted by the Rev.
Mark Ball. Interment will follow in Green Hills
Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
