Mary B. Triana

Mary B. Triana, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 82 years of age. The daughter of George and Mary Bornoty, Mary was born in Managua, Nicaragua and became a Naturalized Citizen of the United States in 1955. She worked as a legal secretary, an interpreter for Haywood County Courts and most recently for Belk's Department Stores. She was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her brother, George Bornoty, Jr. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, the Rev. Mr. Rudolph J. Triana; three sons: Dr. Rudolph J. Triana, Jr. and wife Victoria of Mayfield, KY (their sons Enrique and Antonio), Michael J. Triana and wife Shawna of Hendersonville, NC and Andrew J. Triana and wife Alisha of Richmond, IN (their daughter Anabella); and three sisters: Blanche Triunfo, Yolanda Wells and Marlene Armintor. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 30 at 11:30 am at St. Barnabas Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Friday, June 29 at 7:00 pm at St. Barnabas Church, after which the family will receive friends.
