Mary Charles Armistead

Mary C. Armistead, 85, formerly of Carrier Street, Asheville, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at the Oaks at Sweeten Creek. Miss Armistead was a native of Asheville and a daughter of the late Charles E. and Grace Caruthers Armistead. She is survived by a sister, Josephine Smith; a niece, Jane Youngblood; a nephew, Joseph Smith; and friend, Joyce Smith. Private interment will be at Green Hills Cemetery.
