Brother Earl Im so sorry for your loss, I never had the pleasure to meet your wife, but from seeing you at the lodge and hearing the love you had for her through your voice and the stories you have told me she had to be a special lady, brother you remember you always are in the hearts of all your brothers at hominy lodge, we love you brother.
Earl, the girls and I are so sorry to hear that you’ve lost Mary. Steph was just asking about her earlier this week. Our new house has a fireplace and we were talking about the night of the fire at Oak Hill when I beat on your door, threw her at you, told you the house was on fire and she had to pee! You and Mary were always so gracious and helpful to us. Mary and John are probably swapping out stories right now! Please know how much we love and cherish you. Our hearts are with you. – Katie, Mel and Steph Tackett.
Dear Earl & Family,
I loved Mary. She was my sponsor when I joined the Lions Club in 1991. I remember when I was running for District Governor she said ‘My Baby, I’m so proud of You’. Ha! Ha! Earl, I know you will miss Mary but, she was such a sweet and good person we all know that we’ll see her again.
Love to you.
Marti Hill

So very sorry to hear of your loss. My heart is saddened and my prayers are going out for you during this time of sorrow and always.
Earl, Nancy, and other family.
I am so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I worked with her when she worked for Perry, Sr. and Jr. It seems so hard to believe that our group is almost all gone. But I know where she is, and I know that gives you great comfort. Our prayers are that God will wrap you in His wonderful grace and give you peace.
Earl and family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you at this difficult time.
I am holding out against hopes that this is the Mary Wise I once knew as a wildlife rehabilitator years ago. If she is one in the same, then she was truly blessed by the Hands of God. There are very few people that have a gift of working with wild animals such as Mary did. She indeed was an animal whisperer.
Earl and family,
My thoughts are with you right now. Mary was very special and so loved by her family. Blessings to you.
Mary meant so much to me. We were born cousins, but through the years we became sisters and friends. My heart is broken that she is no longer here physically, but her spirit will live on in my wonderful memories of all the delightful times we spent together. I will always love my ‘big’ sis, who gave me hand-me-downs until I outgrew her petite size! Many prayers of comfort for Earl, Aimee,
Sarah, and Elliott.
Earl we were so sorry to hear about Mary. She was a special Godly woman and I know Kirk was there to hug her. Praying for God peace for you and your family. Much love from Kayla and Shirley Truesdale
Earl, What wonderful friends you and Mary were during my years in Lions. I was very proud to serve as your district secretary/treasurer. We so enjoyed the times we spent together, and especially to be part of your wedding. Know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. The memory of Mary’s sweet smile will stay with us all till we meet again. God bless you.
Love, Marvin & Shirley Smith
Earl and family,
Donna and I are saddened to learn of Mary’s death. We also know this is a blessing and she is in a better (the best) place now. We have heard for a long time how this was progressing and wish to acknowledge what a trooper you have been all this long journey. We appreciate and applaud the wonderful job you did as caregiver to your sweet wife. We stand with you as you grieve the loss and only hope that you can rest and gather your strength from the pain that you have suffered. Tommy and Donna Orr
So sad to hear of Mary’s passing. My heart aches for you all, and my thoughts and prayers are with you. May you let God carry you through this time of sorrow, and know that Mary smiles down from Heaven on you. Much love to all.
