Mary Lee Israel Stewart

She was born June 22, 1915 in Candler, NC and was a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Hinson Israel. She was the wife of the late Holland William Stewart. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Steven Anthony Goforth and R. Scott Smith. She was a member of First Assembly Church of God , Anderson, SC.

Survivors include four daughters, Sandra Stewart of Gulfport, MS, Linda Smith of Webster Groves, MO, Trena Wright of Fairview, NC and Karla Greene of High Point, NC; a son, Michael Anthony Stewart of Anderson, SC; a sister, Lucy Thomas of Fairview, NC; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Saturday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Reverend Jonathan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home.
