Mary Ruth Middleton, 37, of 70 Vanderbilt Terrace, Asheville, died Sunday, May 7, 2000, in an Asheville hospital.
Miss Middleton was a native of Richmond, VA and was a former restaurant manager. She was a daughter of the late William Furman Middleton.
She is survived by her mother, Catherine Fox Middleton; a son, J. William Middleton of Asheville; a sister, Doris Henry of Asheville; and two brothers, John R. Pace of Enka and Richard A. Middleton of Clarksville, VA. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Chaplain Lynn Brown officiating. Burial will be at Ashelawn Gardens. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
