Fletcher – Mary Sue Cabe Huff, 73, of Fletcher passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Park Ridge Hospital.
Mrs. Huff was born in Buncombe County to the late Robert Mark Cabe and Bonnie Roane Cabe.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Huff, and their three children, Keith Huff and his wife, Marie of Cullowhee, Paul Huff and his wife, Cindy of Burlington, NC and Kathy Thielke and her husband, Keith of Brevard, NC; two brothers, Robert Cabe, Jr of Mills River, Thomas Cabe and his wife, Sally of Pascagoula, MS and Rebecca Montgomery and her husband, Montey, of Conway, AR and three grandchildren, Katie, Matthew and Samantha Thielke.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, June 8, 2012 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian with Pastor Keith Thielke officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Episcopal Churchyard.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, Friday at the funeral home.
You were the best mother and mother-in-law that anyone could wish for! We will miss you. Every day.

I have many wonderful memories of Susie beginning at Mills River School. Her sense of humor and love for her family especially stand out in my mind. Condolences to her family.

I attended school with Susie at Mills River and have many fond memories of her,and times spent with her. My deepest sympathy to all the family.
