Mary Ward Frisbee, 79, of 49 Green Valley Road, Leicester, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Frisbee was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Dexter and Hattie West Ward. She was also preceded in death by a son, Rex Frisbee, who died in 1989. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Frisbee; two daughters, June Hawkins and her husband Curtis of Leicester and Marlene Frisbee and her husband Jack Wallen of Fairview; one son, Eric Frisbee and his wife Ginger of Leicester; one sister Ethel Worley of Asheville; a daughter-in-law Sherry Frisbee of Leicester and three grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Phillips officiating.

I was so sorry to hear about your Mother. She was a dear person and will be missed greatly on Greenvalley. Mother will miss her visits and working with her making wreaths and sharing flowers. If I can help you in anyway let me know.

I love Mary with all my heart. She is one of the most wonderful people that God allowed to walk on the face of the Earth. She will be greatly missed. I love you all. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you. If there anything I could possibly do, do not hesitate to let me know.

I am so sorry to hear about your moms passing. If I had known I would surely have come by to pay my respects. You were always such a good friend when we worked together at Coke.
