Meghan Leigh Cabe Phillips

We lost our precious Meghan on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. She was born to John Robert and Kathryn Roseborough Cabe on May 27, 1985.

Meghan was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her and had a heart of gold. She had the most contagious laugh and a keen sense of humor. Her empathy towards others was incomparable and she was always for the underdog.

In addition to her parents, Meghan is survived by her children, Levi James Phillips (12) and Kayleigh Victoria Phillips (7), their father, Jamee Ryan Phillips and their grandmother, Cynthia Butler Phillips; brother, Jeremy William Cabe (Blythe); aunts, Emily Poulson and Iris Hinze; uncle, Stephen Arthur Cabe; dear friend, Byron Osteen; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins scattered throughout the Southeast.

Meghan is predeceased by her maternal grandparents, William and Barbara Vance Roseborough; her aunt, Victoria Roseborough Graham; and her paternal grandparents, John and Norma Cabe.

There will be a family celebration of Meghan’s life mid-summer on the coast.

  5. I loved working with Megan. She was so much fun. We laughed. A lot. I remember when she had Levi. He was sleeping and she had to do something in the store so she left him with me at cash wrap. I just loved it. I’ll miss you sweet Angel.

  12. Meghan and I were practically attached at the hip when we were younger and I have such amazing memories of her. She always made me laugh and kept life fun, from rapping to biggie on the trampoline to following the peacock roaming her neighborhood to watching hours of wrestling together! Praying for comfort and strength as all those who loved her face this loss.

  28. Meghan my Angel. I can’t even believe your gone. I just can’t. Lord please help this family today. I can’t imagine just know your in my thoughts and prayers. She was my best friend and my sister. I remember the lake, Carowinds, the fog horn at Shane’s games, the Jeep and the system, to the bonfire in Swannanoa and John Cabe came and got us, but boy did he let us have it! I’m so sorry Mr and Mrs. Cabe. I loved Meghan like a blood sister. I wish I had the photos of her and I still. This is so painful to see her beautiful face here. I love you stay strong!
