I met Marlene in 1977 when she was temporarily assigned to work in the same office at NC DOT. We soon found out we shared a birthday and so much more. We became close friends. She was such a dynamo ready to take on anything that she believed in or wanted done. She never shied away from work on the job or at home. If a tree fell in her yard, she was immediately dragging out her saw. I shall miss you my spunky friend.
Donald, We have you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Danny and I are so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
