Mildred Elaine Webb Cagle, 82, of Rock Hill, SC, formerly of Asheville NC, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Rock Hill Post Acute Care Center.
A native of Haywood County, Mildred was a daughter of the late Russell Webb and Willie Mae Fish Mintz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Carroll Ray Cagle; her daughter, Darlene Woody; her brother, Jack Webb; and a great grand daughter, Emily Harward.
Surviving are her daughters, Sandy Van Buren of Rock Hill, SC and Vicky (Sam) Montgomery of York, SC; and son, Ray Cagle; her sisters, Clara Mae Swanger of Candler, NC and Jean King of Canton, NC; her brother, Reeves Webb of Chieflain, FL.; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Above all else, Mrs. Cagle loved the Lord and happily spent most of her life as a dedicated minister’s wife with a true servant’s heart. She was a member of Bent Creek Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm on Sunday, July 8 followed by funeral services for Mrs. Cagle at 3:00 p.m. in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Acton United Methodist Church Cemetery.

We are thinking of you all during this most difficult time. Losing a parent is one of the most difficult things we go through. She was a wonderful person and I have found Memories of my Aunt Mildred. I remember going to visit her and going to church and hearing my uncle preach. We will be praying for you all
