  1. Mama,
I thought you were getting better and coming out of this one, too, but God saw fit to take you on.
I sure wish you were here with me during spring break. OK, I know this can’t compare to up there! So I’ll spend my week sharing pictures of you and hearing more stories about you. You deserve all the beauty and joy and happiness that you now have in heaven, but I miss you badly. I’ll love you forever. Sandra

  2. Paul, Mike, Sandra, and Robin,

I just want each of you to know how much my thoughts were with you during this time. As each of the services began, I lifted each of you in my prayers.

Mildred was always there for my Daddy. Mama loved her like a sister. Mildred’s laugh will live on in our hearts. We can only imagine what heaven is like and the wonderful reunion we will have with those who have gone on before us does truly give us comfort.

I don’t travel well anymore, but hope to see you soon. My prayers are with you.

    kathy

  3. Dear Mike, Sandra, Robin, and Paul
I finally got the nerve to visit this web page. Thank you for sharing the greatest lady in the world with me. In 1971 she became my other mother, the grandmother of my children and the best advisor a person could ever have. I went to her with everything and she told me like it was. I pray that I can be half the mother and grandmother to my children as she was to hers. She always treated me just like one of her children and I miss her so much. She is in Heaven receiving the many rewards she earned over the years. She is home. I will carry her with me forever.

  4. Granny, i don’t have a joke to tell you today. i am sure that you are smiling amyway. it sure is different around here. i never thought that i would experience the day when you would not be here. in high school i always asked God to keep you here until i graduated, he did. then, i asked God to keep you here until i graduated college, he did. every stage of my life i wanted you to be a part of. (don’t worry, i will tell my kids all about you.) i then realized that doing what was best for me wasn’t best for you. it was not in His plans. there is not a day that goes by that i don’t think about you. that would be impossible. i am so glad that God made you the person that you were. i know that i am better for it. you will never know the difference you have made in my life and so many others lives as well. you will never be sick again and i am know that in heaven’s choir you are able to stand and sign and never run out of breath. i love you, katie

  16. Paul and family

My prayers are with you and the family. Mildred was like a second mother to me. She seemed to know the days that I was down and she would call and just say that she had me on her mind and want to know if I just needed to talk. I always knew she was there for me.
Paul and Mildred took me into their home and treated me as one of their own children. The love they showed me and my family over all the years will never be forgotten. No words can express the love I have for them.
I know one day we will be together again.
    Love
    Carolyn ‘Tincy’ Frady
