Arden ~ Minnie Ballard Ducker, 90, of Ball Gap Road, Arden died on Saturday, February 17, 2007.
She was the daughter of the late Edwin Ballard and Cora Jones Ballard and was preceded in death by her husband, Solon B. Ducker and a step-son, Solon B. Ducker, Jr. She was a member of the Long Shoals Baptist Church.
She is survived by three step-daughters, Grace Scruggs of Horse Shoe, Inez Owen of Lake Toxaway and Betty Lytle of Arden; a step-son Robert L. Ducker of Aiken, SC; thirteen step-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday in Roberts Memorial Park with the Rev. Roger Rearden officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.

Betty and family, My deepest sympathy in Minnie’s passing. I wish I could have been working Saturday morning so I could have been with her. We know she is in a much better place and will have a new and healthy body. I will miss her and saying my pet name ‘Minnie Minnie’ when talking to her. I will never forget how she used to laugh when I called her that so many months ago. Again my deepest sympathy. My parents, Elmer & Ila Ingle Parham sends their sympathy. Thinking of you.
