  3. I will always cherish my memories of my Uncle Morris. He was a wonderful man, always helping other people. His wit and dry humor gave me many laughs, and his love for God and other people was always evident. My mother will always be grateful for the help that he gave her when my father died in 1988. Our prayers and love go out to his family and friends.

  4. Please accept my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Morris was an important part of my life as I grew up, always the same, no matter what. He gave me my first job (babysitting) I loved his smile and his caring nature. He was a great friend to my parents and to me and my brother. I am sure there is a great reunion going on in heaven. May God comfort you in your loss.

  10. To the family and many friends of Morris Lance: The picture that was chosen of Morris makes you think he is just about to respond to something. He responded to God always and his family came next. What a gentle man who got his strength in the way he cared for others and worked in his garden. Bless each one of you with good memories, nuggets of truth and wisdom, and confidence in God’s steadfast hold on your Dad, husband and friend.

    Sincerely,
    Gerry and Margaret Stanley

  11. We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go to the whole family. May you all find peace in God’s Love.

  12. My mother Belle and Morris were married in 1999. One weekend I was in Asheville when they were dating and he arrived to take her out dancing. He and I were sitting on the couch when Mom came out all dressed up in her “dancing clothes.” She twirled around and asked how she looked, to which Morris and I of course replied she looked great. When she went to get her purse, Morris turned to me with eyes full of admiration and said, “She really looks good, doesn’t she?” I knew by that look on his face that there was something to this relationship and he would be good to my mother – and he was! Thank you Morris – goodbye to a kind, considerate and honorable man.
