Services for Myrtle Kathleen Wray Phillips Smith, 85, of 1680 Hendersonville Road, Asheville will be 2 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue conducted by the Rev. Christin E. Harley. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Neil and Ella Holder Wray and wife of the late James Lowell Phillips who died in 1972 and of the late James Smith, who died in 1992. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and a former member of the ABWA.
She is survived by two sons, Larry Phillips of Richmond, VA and Jeff Phillips of Asheville and five grandchildren, Steve, Mitch and Bryant Phillips, Rob and Eric Phillips.
