Nathan R. McGhee
January 10, 1935 ~ September 9, 1999
Asheville Butterfly TrailMr. McGhee was born in Buncombe County and was a son of Myra Ray McGhee of Fairview and the late Paul Nathan Andrew McGhee. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict and worked for 30 years as a nursing assistant at the VA Medical Center.
He is survived by four sisters, Jeanette Blankenship, Cathyleen Anderson, Judy Ann
McGhee, and Paulette Davis of Fairview, three brothers, Bobby McGhee of Kansas, Ernest McGhee of
Fairview, and Carrol McGhee of Jacksonville, FL., and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be
at 5:00 pm Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Ponder officiating.
His family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service, and they would like to extend appreciation to Mountain Area Hospice and to the
staff of Fleshers Fairview Nursing Center.
