Whenever I think of Naydean I think of growing up on McPherson Street and playing with my childhood friend Germaine. Naydean would fix us lunch of soup and sandwich. She was always so kind, thoughtful and sweet and as the years passed she remained the same. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to visit with her again these past few years. In spite of her own health issues she always had a smile or a word of encouragement for someone else. Naydean will be missed.

Vickie and Family, I’m truly sorry for your loss. Naydean was a great lady. I will always remember her as being warm and friendly. She will be missed.
You helped me find my smile, and accepted me for who I am. You always let me know my efforts were worthwhile. You were so much more wonderful than you would ever admit to being.
Even though the two of us are far away from each other, our thoughts will make sure we stay together.
You will always live in my heart.

Vickie, we were shocked to learn that you lost your sweet mom. I really regret that we haven’t seen you all since we moved to Greenville in August, 2005. I think about the time I went to the beach with you and Nadine and had such a wonderful time. She was one of the sweetest, nicest person that I’ve ever known.
